Mid to Senior Level Communications Specialist – Las Vegas | Hybrid

The Firm Public Relations & Marketing is seeking a Mid to Senior Level Communications Specialist to play a key role in executing high-impact public relations campaigns across corporate, healthcare, nonprofit, real estate & development, and travel & tourism clients.

This role is ideal for a strong communicator, media relations professional, and content creator who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, enjoys variety, and takes pride in producing excellent work. It also offers the opportunity to contribute strategically to campaign development, media strategy, and client storytelling, making it a perfect fit for someone looking to deepen their strategic and leadership impact.

What You’ll Do

Media Relations & Pitching

– Research, develop, and maintain targeted media lists

– Pitch stories to local, regional, and national media

– Secure earned media coverage across broadcast, print, digital, and trade

– Build relationships with journalists and producers

– Coordinate interviews and media opportunities

Content Creation

– Write press releases, media pitches, talking points, bios, Q&As, newsletters, and social copy

– Draft award submissions and thought leadership pieces

– Develop client messaging and story angles

Campaign Execution

– Execute PR campaigns across multiple clients

– Track coverage and manage reporting

– Monitor news and identify timely pitching opportunities

– Support event publicity and media logistics

Team Collaboration

– Work closely with Account Directors and Account Managers

– Support junior staff with guidance and execution leadership

– Contribute ideas and creative thinking to campaigns

What We’re Looking For

– If mid level 2-3+ years of public relations or communications experience

– If senior level 4-7+ years of public relations or communications experience

– Strong writing and editing skills

– Proven media pitching success

– Excellent organization and time management

– Ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines

– Proactive mindset and strong attention to detail

– Calm under pressure and adaptable in fast-paced environments

– PR agency experience
